Scrapbooking Month by Month
Wednesday, November 11, 6:30pm to 8:30pm

This month we will learn Paper Pleating and how to use Ranger's Distress Embossing Powder to make an elegant layout. This is a great technique to use on wedding layouts, too.

Please bring paper trimmer with scoring blade, bone folder, scissors and favorite adhesives to include Popit Squares and mini glue dots. All other supplies included in class fee.

New Jersey Lighthouse Challenge Photos

Well, we did it! We completed the New Jersey Lighthouse Challenge. Here are the stats: Made thirteen stops, drove 400 miles using one tank of gas, climbed 1,864 steps, fought the wind, rain and floods....all over two BAD HAIR days.

This was probably one of our most adventurous trips ever. Through all our trials and tribulations, we still had the best time and will never forget this trip.

We would like to send out a huge THANK YOU to all the volunteers for their time and effort in putting this event together!!

Now, I got some scrapbookin' to do.

Family Fun in New Jersey-NJ Lighthouse Challenge

Looking for a fun family activity this weekend; October 17-18? How about the New Jersey Lighthouse Challenge®.

What is the New Jersey Lighthouse Challenge®?

The New Jersey Lighthouse Challenge® is a not-for-profit event presented by The New Jersey Lighthouse Society, Inc. for the purpose of raising public awareness of lighthouses in general and New Jersey’s lighthouses, specifically. It is a rain or shine, two-day event held during the 3rd weekend in October when 11 land-based lighthouses and 2 Frensel lens sites are open for visitation and climbing. During this weekend, the public is invited to visit any or all of the sites along the Challenge route.

At each site visited, participants of the Challenge receive a complimentary souvenir depicting that particular lighthouse. Collect all 13 and you will receive a complimentary "completion" souvenir at your final stop to commemorate your achievement.

Learn the magic of Ranger's Holographic embossing powder. It goes through three color changes the longer you heat it. It is the perfect embellishment for our spooky October layout. Then we will make a hidden picture/jounaling spot on your page.

Please bring paper trimmer, scissors and favorite adhesives to include Popit Squares and mini glue dots. All other supplies included in class fee.



Holiday Cards
Friday, October 23, 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Use Ranger's Tinsel and Metallic Embossing Powders to create some beautiful cards to dazzle your friends this holiday season. We will make four cards in class: Jingle, Let it Snow, Joy & Merry Little Christmas.

Please bring paper trimmer, scissors and favorite adhesives to include Popit Squares and mini glue dots. All other supplies included in class fee

This month we will learn how to make a pocket to hold a special photo or some journaling, Tim Holtz' Wrinkle Free Distress Ink Technique and how to make epoxy stickers from scrapbook paper with Ranger's Glossy Accents.

Please bring scissors, paper trimmer,and favorite adhesives including Mini Glue Dots. Other supplies included in the cost of the class.
